At the start of this year, I almost decided to stop speaking at conferences altogether. Honestly, I came very close.

Lately, it’s felt like every topic in crypto has been repeated over and over, and to be frank, the space was starting to feel a little… boring.
That was until last week’s Red Bull Racing Partner Day.
I had initially planned to spend just five minutes giving a brief recap of our collaboration from last year and sharing the success of our “IN THE MOMENT” digital collectibles campaign with the other sponsors.
What actually happened was very different:
🕒 I was first asked to speak for only 2 minutes, so my expectations were low.
🔗 I made a deliberate effort to tie my content to the morning’s presentation to make it more relevant.
😄 I added a few of my usual jokes to lighten the mood.
🗣️ And I kept my language simple, avoiding technical terms and jargon.
To my surprise, after the session, several partners approached me to say they really enjoyed my talk and thought I did a great job.
Of course, some of it was probably just politeness. But those messages reignited my desire to keep speaking.
Many friends here might already be tired of hearing me talk about crypto. But for the 94% of people worldwide who haven’t truly experienced it, what I casually shared could have been their very first introduction — just like it was for those partners from finance, telecom, luxury, automotive, travel, hospitality, lifestyle, and consumer electronics sectors at Red Bull Racing.
