Web2.5 games are quietly emerging. These games view blockchain as purely infrastructure, typically not issuing tokens, and compete based on actual revenue. Studios like Fumb Games, Mythical Games, and Wemade/Wemix are leveraging blockchain technology to improve profit margins and increase engagement while continuously generating substantial income.

Web3 native games have generated six to seven figures in revenue this year, but their player base is small and filled with bots. After incentives disappear, user loss is severe. Web2.5 studios can currently leverage blockchain advantages without forcing users to speculate. The widespread adoption of stablecoins will accelerate this trend, making small transactions, global payment channels, and participation-based reward mechanisms more convenient.
