A few days ago, we released the first teaser for the “Lobster Debate Conference.” Honestly, we expected this event to attract attention, but the enthusiasm exceeded our expectations. As of now, over 500 people have signed up.

This number is both exciting and a little nerve-wracking. Exciting because so many people are interested in our event. Nervous because the original indoor space can only hold about 100 people.

To meet everyone’s enthusiasm, we made a decision: expand capacity.

In addition to the main indoor discussion area, we will set up a projection broadcast on the large outdoor terrace so more people can enjoy the evening breeze, sip drinks, and participate in this AI-themed intellectual clash. Also, considering many friends who are not in Beijing, we will livestream the event online simultaneously.

Regarding registration review, due to the large number of applicants, we are working overtime to review everyone’s submissions. The results will be sent via email by this Friday at the latest, so please keep an eye on your inbox.

If you’re still hesitating about whether to come or curious about what we have prepared, here are some special segments designed for this “Lobster Debate Conference.”

We don’t want the usual panel with guests sitting upright on stage and the audience dozing off. So, this time, we will adopt a special sharing format. We have already collected the guests’ viewpoints in advance and will set up three debate topics based on their perspectives, allowing the guests to argue and share their opinions directly.

Of course, the stage isn’t just for guests. The “Open Mic Demo” segment will be open at the same time. Whether you’re creating art with AI, working on an interesting Agent project, or just want to share a quick thought, you’re welcome to grab the microphone.

Besides exchanging ideas, we have also prepared some fun activities on-site.

We will display an article that is full of AI flavor but devoid of human touch, as a satire and reflection on the current state of content creation. We also embedded a hidden Easter egg in the article— the first three friends to find it will receive Token rewards.

For example, the “Real Human Verification Challenge.” In an era when AI is increasingly human-like, how do you prove you’re a real human? Our answer: kick a shuttlecock. Participate in the on-site shuttlecock-kicking challenge to win Token rewards provided by our partner MiniMax, and receive a carefully crafted “Certificate of Real Humanity.” But hurry—only 80 certificates are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

We also prepared a small gift for attendees. At the registration desk, front-row participants will receive a limited edition physical commemorative ticket, which can be exchanged for a drink at the bar with its stub. Since the event may run late, we’ve partnered with Didi to prepare a “Lobster Debate Exclusive 100-Yuan Voucher Pack” for attendees.

We’ve set up the stage, stocked the drinks, and prepared some sharp questions.

If you’re curious about the future of AI, feeling a bit anxious about the current tech wave, or just want to spend a weekend evening chatting and debating with interesting people, you’re welcome to join us.

Scan the QR code on the poster, gather your friends, and see you this weekend.
