The White House has issued a statement opposing the passage of the crypto bill Financial Innovation and Technology for the 21st Century (FIT21) Act ahead of the House vote today. However, the Biden Administration offered to collaborate with Congress to establish a balanced regulatory framework for digital assets. The White House’s statement was preceded by one from U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Chair Gary Gensler, who also opposed the same crypto bill.

Although the form has been approved, the ETF issuers still need to wait for the activation of the S-1 registration statement. The SEC is currently in discussions with the issuers regarding the S-1 form. It is unclear how long this process will take, but according to some analysts' predictions, it could take several weeks.
