PANews 10月31日消息，據Cointelegraph報道，根據西聯匯款周三向美國專利商標局提交的“WUUSD”商標申請，WUUSD商標可用於加密貨幣錢包、加密貨幣交易以及穩定幣支付處理等多個領域。該商標涵蓋一系列與穩定幣相關服務，申請已被受理但未分配審查員。目前尚不清楚WUUSD與其計劃推出的穩定幣USDPT之間的區別，因爲西聯匯款在10月初也提交了與USDPT完全相同的商標申請。
申請文件顯示，WUUSD可用於穩定幣兌換、交易及支付處理，還暗示將提供更廣泛的加密貨幣服務，如用於管理和驗證交易、“消費和交易加密貨幣”的軟件，以及加密貨幣交易所、交易、支付處理和金融經紀服務。此外，文件提及加密貨幣借貸服務，即“開展證券和衍生品交易”，這或與西聯傳統業務差異顯著。
此前消息，西聯匯款擬於2026年推出基於Solana區塊鏈構建的穩定幣USDPT；西聯匯款已申請註冊WUUSD商標。
