這些發展是在 CNF 報導 OnePay 正在準備加入加密貨幣交易與托管幾個月後。計畫中的推出將支持比特幣和以太坊，並在應用內將加密貨幣轉換為現金。這個架構將允許用戶在沃爾瑪消費或將資金用於應用內的卡片餘額。報導還將此舉與沃爾瑪在美國更明確的法規框架下進行的穩定幣和數字支付工作聯繫起來。
比特幣支付在大型零售商中逐漸普及
沃爾瑪的最新動作緊隨 IKEA 和家得寶等行業巨頭的腳步，這些公司在近期也宣布了類似的整合。美國最大的五金連鎖店家得寶多年前就支持透過 Flexa 平台用比特幣支付，根據公開的零售支付摘要。
在這個系統中，顧客使用兼容的錢包並在結帳時掃描二維碼。Flexa 會路由支付並將加密貨幣金額轉換成美元，支付給商家。結果，商店收到法幣結算，而顧客則用錢包餘額中的加密貨幣進行消費。
這種方式利用現有的結帳掃描器，減少了在收銀台安裝新硬體的需求。
儘管 IKEA 在美國的結帳選項中未將加密貨幣列為標準支付方式，但顧客仍可透過第三方供應商用 BTC 購買 IKEA 禮品卡，進而用於 IKEA 購物，形成一條間接的比特幣到零售的路徑。
早前，CNF 指出，即使是中國的富裕投資者也正從奢侈品房產轉向比特幣和全球股票。報導引用深圳灣的交易，將高端房產與比特幣、英偉達股票和 BNB 進行交換。
比特幣在新的一年中已經回升，週一交易約為 $92,400，在交易期間曾一度突破 $93,170。從日線趨勢來看，這個頂級加密貨幣重新站上了50日移動平均線，部分分析師將其視為一個關鍵篩選點。
