ChainCatcher 消息，BNB Chain 今日進行第三次重大升級 Fermi，該升級以意大利裔美國物理學家 Enrico Fermi 命名。升級將使網絡區塊產生速度提升 40%，並將最終性確認時間降低至約 1 秒，使交易確認更可預測，降低高波動市場中的滑點風險。
此次升級還包括優化驗證者協調機制、提高區塊鏈數據訪問效率以及改善交易執行效率等技術改進。此前 BNB Chain 已完成以數學家 Pascal 和物理學家 Maxwell 命名的兩次升級。
