BlockBeats 消息，2 月 9 日，加密做市商 Wintermute 創始人 Evgeny Gaevoy 分析 2 月 8 日凌晨比特幣、ETH 現貨 1 分鐘圖異常波動。其表示很可能是某個做市商機器人發生爆倉，損失金額或高達數千萬美元，異常波動由機器人虧損導致，而非做市商惡意為之，並且 Wintermute 顯然也沒參與其中。
Evgeny Gaevoy 補充表示，對市場中「有大機構爆倉」的傳聞持懷疑態度，而且即使真有，也不會造成中長期影響。對比以往三箭資本和 FTX 崩盤，當時爆倉消息得以很快傳播並出現明顯跡象顯示爆倉屬實，比如出現機構尋求救助。但當前市場傳聞多來自無名帳戶，也沒有得到可靠信源確認。本輪周期的槓桿主要來自永續合約，交易平台不再像過去那樣使用用戶資產冒險投資低流動性資產或者發放特殊信貸，信貸緊縮導致機構信貸規模小於 20 億美元，影響有限，很難像 2022 年那樣引發連鎖爆倉。
此前報導，2 月 8 日凌晨比特幣、ETH 現貨 1 分鐘圖出現異常波動，從 00：05 開始至 00：17 持續出現單分鐘振幅超 1% 甚至 3% 的波動。
