Bitfinex 案的法律懸局與相互競爭的索賠

2016 年 8 月，加密貨幣交易所 Bitfinex 遭受黑客攻擊，損失 119,754 枚 BTC，成為加密貨幣史上規模最大的比特幣盜竊事件之一。2022 年 2 月，美國當局追回相關 BTC 約 94,643 枚，2025 年 1 月，檢察官正式向聯邦法院申請以「實物賠償」方式返還——即直接以 BTC 形式返還，而非先出售換取美元。

LEO 代幣：市場對法院裁決的提前定價

Bitfinex 及其母公司 iFinex 的平台代幣 UNUS SED LEO（LEO）目前正扮演著法院裁決結果「市場代理人」的角色。Bitfinex 曾公開聲明，一旦收到追回的 BTC，將在 18 個月內使用淨收益的 80% 進行 LEO 的回購與銷毀。
