Earlier this year, Immunify.Life launched a groundbreaking study in conjunction with the Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST). As the largest MMUST campus in Kenya, the Kakamega County location is working with Immunify.Life to demonstrate how the IMM token can be used to bring lapsed patients , previously diagnosed with HIV back on their treatment regimen.

Specifically, the Immunify.Life app is being used to gather data that will allow the company to uate the impact of token rewards on treatment adherence rates of previously lapsed patients. The main goal of the study is to empower patients, communities, and countries through an incentivization mechanism accessible from mobile phones. By the end of April 2023, the required sample size of 600 patients had been recruited into the study and initial data analysis from the baseline study visit had commenced!
