Shiba Inu has been making headlines for the last couple of weeks, after numerous achievements in its development. LUCIE, the Shiba eco Official Content Marketing Specialist has revealed a key update on Shiba Inu’s roadmap to launch its layer-2 blockchain, Shibarium.
The Shibarium testnet “Puppynet” has reached 25 million transactions according to a recent update. In addition, total blocks have increased to 1.45 million, and wallet addresses increased to 16.98 million. This demonstrates a massive demand for the upcoming launch.
The official launch of the Shibarium mainnet is expected soon according to the lead developer Shytoshi Kusama but no official date has been given. LUCIE has given further details on the Worldpaper and its importance. Previously, the team revealed that Worldpaper is expected to expound on the Shiba Inu roadmap.

In the recent update, LUCIE notes that this will be;
…a deep dive into all the aspects of Shib; the eco of tokens, products, platforms, and services including but not limited to $Shib, $Bone, $Leash, Treat and Shhhhh-i and more as noted above. Moreover, it’ll explain a long-term plan for full and complete decentralization, our new official partners (and a reminder of current ones), and all details you all want and crave. It’s a bit different than the Woofpaper as this paper is about “changing (I prefer the word saving… but I digress) the WORLD via decentralization”.
LUCIE in the latest update revealed that the Worldpaper will come alongside the release of Shibarium or right before. Headed to this final launch, the specialist notes that there might be one or two surprises. This is inspiring for SHIB investors who expect the token to rally heading to and after the launch of Shibarium.
With Shibarium, Shiba Inu will be able to redefine itself moving from a memecoin status to a fully-fledged eco that embodies DeFi, smart contracts, the metaverse, and other web3 innovations. By doing so, it will further be able to compete with top-tier projects such as Cardano and Ethereum.
According to the market analysis platform Santiment, SHIB is one of the most undervalued tokens on the market and one that has been receiving major attention from whales. Santiment hinted that SHIB was one of three including Ripple (XRP) and Cardano (ADA) which were underappreciated and may gain ground in the coming months.
At the time of press, SHIB is exchanging for 0.0000073 after a 3 percent drop in the last 24 hours. This represents a 90+ percent drop and remains a long way from its all-time high of $0.00008845 reached two years. Investors hope prices can test these highs with the launch of Shibarium.
