Trader Loses $69.4K in UNI FOMO Trade, Switches to Short Position
Gate News bot message, A notable trading incident occurred on UNI token where trader “gud.hl” demonstrated the risks of FOMO trading. Initially, the trader purchased 256,000 UNI tokens valued at $2.4 million. After holding the position for approximately five and a half hours, the trader closed the position, recording a substantial loss of $69,400.
Following this loss, “gud.hl” reversed their strategy by entering a 10x leveraged short position on UNI. This new position has already accumulated an unrealized loss of $8,500.
