I have always been anti tattoos.
Tats used to be worn by actual “tough guys” because they at minimum had to go against society a bit and acknowledge that they may be looked down upon. When you remove the societal stigma around them you get people getting tats simply because they can. They want the attention that goes along with getting tatted but don’t actually want the tats. It will once again become high status to not have tattoos and it already has a bit.
