The New Mexico Public Regulation Commission is reopening its public comment period for the proposed sale of PNM’s parent company, TXNM Energy, to Blackstone Infrastructure. The sale, agreed upon in 2025, has raised concerns among the public regarding potential electricity bill increases for customers. A public meeting will be held on Tuesday at the University of New Mexico Student Union, and comments can also be submitted via email or by watching the live-streamed meeting.
