It’s just another ordinary day in the crypto world. Seeing everyone in the group chat gossiping like crazy and cursing at the latest project team in trouble (or another fallen “big shot”), I suddenly feel it’s all pretty pointless—I don’t even have the energy to type and join in.

Those so-called “earth-shattering scandals” actually have nothing to do with us. When we pile on and share these stories, we’re just looking for a bit of cheap comfort in someone else’s misfortune, thinking “at least it’s not me.”

Let’s admit it, none of us are that noble. Sometimes when we angrily curse the scammers, deep down we’re a little envious they made money. Sometimes when we mock others as “bagholders,” it’s because we’re afraid of looking like one ourselves. It’s all emotion, all calculation.
