Whale Large-Scale Liquidation: HYPE and ETH suddenly reduced positions, still holding $230 million in long positions
【Blockchain Rhythms】A major whale has been quite active recently. On December 18th, on-chain monitoring showed that this wallet whale, who previously held large positions worth tens of millions of dollars, recently took partial profits—selling off 431,000 HYPE tokens (approximately $11.1 million) and 1,960 ETH (about $5.6 million).
However, this guy’s appetite is still quite large; after closing some positions, he hasn’t fully exited. Currently, the wallet still holds 1.726 million HYPE tokens (worth about $44.6 million) and 7,841 ETH (around $22.3 million). Even more astonishing, he is also holding about $230 million worth of XRP and ETH long positions in another account.
From the looks of it, this whale seems to be adjusting his strategy but remains optimistic about this wave of the market.
