Whale ETH long positions face consecutive liquidations, losing over $100,000 in one day
【ChainNews】Data shows that well-known trader Huang Licheng experienced a " Waterloo" in the past 24 hours. He cleared all BTC long positions and HYPE long positions 9 hours ago, with a single loss of $70,600.
Even more tragic is his ETH position. Between 1 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. today, a mere 3.5 hours, his ETH long positions were liquidated 17 times in succession, forcibly reducing 775 ETH, with an unrealized loss of $37,200. While being liquidated, he also fought back—depositing 149,900 USDC to add margin and continuously increasing his ETH holdings by 350 ETH in an attempt to lower the average cost.
Currently, his ETH long position remains stable at 5,000 ETH, worth approximately $14.14 million, but the unrealized loss has already expanded to $524,000. In just one day, this market movement resulted in a loss of over $100,000, demonstrating the fierce volatility of the crypto market.
