Ondo Finance launches cross-chain bridge: over 100 stock and ETF tokens seamlessly transferred between Ethereum and BNB Chain
【ChainWen】Ondo Finance officially launches cross-chain bridge services, now available on Ethereum and BNB Chain. This new tool is specifically designed for on-chain securities, supporting cross-chain transfers of over 100 stock tokens and ETF tokens.
In terms of technical architecture, the Ondo cross-chain bridge is powered by LayerZero, with security maintained by a decentralized verification node network (DVN) including Canary Protocol. The application is based on the Stargate framework. In simple terms, users’ assets maintain a 1:1 value parity during cross-chain transfers, so there’s no need to worry about ratio fluctuations.
What does this mean? Application developers on Ethereum and BNB Chain can easily integrate Ondo’s asset support, and Ondo itself has paved the way for expansion to other EVM-compatible chains. In other words, the liquidity of on-chain securitized assets is expected to increase significantly, and ecosystem interactions between different chains will become more closely linked. For users holding these tokens, cross-chain exchanges become more convenient and costs more transparent.
