#大户持仓动态 Vitalik Buterin Calls for Simplification of Ethereum's Core Protocol Design

$ETH $BNB $DOGE

Ethereum founder's recent core viewpoint has sparked community attention — the current protocol design is too complex, which directly limits the entry barriers for new users and developers.

He believes that reducing the difficulty of understanding is key to expanding the Ethereum ecosystem. The simpler the protocol, the more people can participate; conversely, complex designs will keep many potential users out. This is not only a technical issue but also an ecosystem issue.

Looking at the development trajectories of $BNB and other public chains, usability often determines market penetration. Simplifying Ethereum's protocol could mean more developers are willing to build applications, more users are willing to use the network, thereby promoting a healthy cycle for the entire ecosystem.

This argument also indirectly reflects a common problem in current blockchain technology: powerful functions but high entry barriers. In the future, truly successful public chains should be those that maintain decentralization advantages while also ensuring usability.

Well said, the issue of complexity killing users is really a stubborn problem. We were still messing around with sharding before, but the threshold keeps getting higher. Exactly, BNB's straightforward and simple approach actually attracted a lot of users. ETH needs to think about how to cool down the environment, or else the ecosystem will keep intensifying, and newcomers will be discouraged.

Uncle V finally spoke out, I've been wanting to complain for a long time. The threshold for the ETH ecosystem is really high now. The Simplified Protocol sounds simple, but the actual operational difficulty is sky-high. It's a trap. Why can BNB succeed? Isn't it just because users don't need to understand all that nonsense? I really hope it can be improved, otherwise newcomers will be discouraged when they see that pile of technical documents.

Wake up, everyone. Simplified protocols? Easy to say, but how about actually changing them?

That's right, Ethereum is really over-engineered now, and the high threshold ends up shooting itself in the foot. Hmm... that's true, but simplification makes maintenance easier. Oh no, BNB's system has long been criticized as "centralized," so it's not really fair to compare it that way. The real issue is how to balance usability and decentralization. Wait, did Vitalik really say that, or is it just the community yapping again?

Hey, Vitalik is right, ETH does have a bit of a high barrier now. Many people around me want to get in but are confused. By the way, will it run faster after simplification, or is it just easier to use... Really, the reason BNB is growing so quickly is sometimes just because it's comfortable to use. Why do it seem like these big shots are all complaining now? The protocols are too complicated, and it's hard to attract users. If it really gets simplified, wouldn't the advantages of those old miners be gone?

To be honest, it's a bit late for Vitalik to realize this now. BNB has already enjoyed the benefits of simplicity, while ETH is still showing off complexity.

Haha, Vitalik finally admits that ETH is too complicated. He should have said this a long time ago. Simplifying the protocol? BNB has already won big, and we're still reading the documentation. Nice words, but it's hard to make changes.

Basically, ETH is too competitive right now. Newcomers see the code and get discouraged.
