BTC prepares for year-end closing
After experiencing a turbulent year, Bitcoin is ending the year in a relatively "calm" manner.
Unlike the traditional stock market's "Santa Rally" during Christmas, Bitcoin currently shows weak fundamentals, outflows of institutional funds, and cautious market sentiment.
$BTC The price is currently fluctuating around 86,400 – 88,000, a correction of about 30% from the all-time high (approximately 126,000) set in October this year.
Volatility trend: The market is in a state of "Bullish Neutrality." Due to options worth over $23 billion expiring this week, investors tend to hold their coins and wait, leading to reduced trading volume during Christmas and a significant narrowing of price fluctuations.
Long contracts in the futures market are increasing, making short-term upward movement more difficult.
The 2025 Bitcoin has undergone a transformation from "ETF frenzy" to "macro reality." Today’s Bitcoin seems to be no longer just a speculative tool but a core asset deeply embedded in the dollar system, corporate earnings reports, and geopolitical games.
However, I believe Bitcoin’s value still lies in broad holding rather than being concentrated in large institutions. Excessive concentration could diminish Bitcoin’s vitality.
Ordinary people, due to a lack of economic literacy (blamed on the deception of official economic education worldwide), find it very difficult to break free from mistaken concepts. Therefore, truly good assets (Bitcoin, gold, high-quality stocks) and truly effective methods (value investing) are not easily understood or applied. Instead, incorrect wealth and value concepts (such as speculation, hype, consumerism) dominate.
Next steps:
First, wait for a rebound and then sell the remaining altcoins in the position.
Second, make long-term plans and prepare for accumulation.
Third, closely monitor US QE and interest rate cuts, and watch for potential small market rallies like the "Little Spring Festival" or "Spring Festival Market." Avoid excessive emotional fluctuations and blindly enter large positions.
