Abstract generation in progress

The beloved Dunkin’ dog toys are making a comeback this National Dog Day, and the impact keeps growing. BARK and Dunkin’ have partnered again to bring limited-edition playthings to shelves, with every $16 donation supporting kids battling illness and hunger through the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation.

Six Years of Wagging Tails and Giving Back

What started in 2020 has become an annual tradition dog lovers can’t wait for. The BARK and Dunkin’ collaboration has now raised over $12.5 million for the Joy in Childhood Foundation—money that directly funds the Dogs for Joy program, which places specially trained facility dogs in children’s hospitals nationwide.

This year marks the sixth iteration of the partnership, and the numbers speak volumes: the foundation has already supported 50 facility dogs across 33 hospitals, touching the lives of thousands of young patients. These aren’t just comfort companions—Dogs for Joy teaches kids how to take medication, provides emotional support during medical procedures, and motivates them through their treatment journey.

This Year’s Collection: Cold Brew Meets Comfort

Starting today, the 2025 Dunkin’ x BARK collection lands at participating Dunkin’ locations and online at bark.co/dunkin while supplies last. Two playful designs headline the release:

The Cold Brew toy packs an oversized squeaker, ultra-fluffy stuffing, crinkle fabric, and a whimsical whip-n-flip straw that pups will love to pounce on.

The Chocolate Frosted Donut is a 2-in-1 plush featuring two squeakers and layers of crinkly material designed to keep dogs entertained for hours.

A New Litter of Hope

This year brings fresh puppy power to the program: 11 new facility dogs-in-training are joining the Dogs for Joy family. Named by Dunkin’ franchisees and hospital Child Life Specialists, these pups are on their way to becoming full-time helpers in hospitals across the country.

“Every toy sold means more trained facility dogs reaching kids when they need comfort most,” notes Mollie Collum, Director of the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation. “With each donation, we’re creating joy twice over—once for the dogs who get to play, and once for the children these programs serve.”

For dog lovers looking to make a real difference on their next Dunkin’ run, these limited-edition playthings offer the perfect way to give back. Learn more about the Dogs for Joy program at bringjoy.org.
