Why does the whole world no longer want to have children?

Stop talking about awakening or upgraded concepts,
It's just one word: can't handle it.

Nowadays:
Poor people have children,
It's like sentencing themselves to life imprisonment;
Middle class don't have kids,
They're afraid of returning to the past overnight.

What's even more disgusting
Is that gender relations have long been rotten,
Yet people still use children as glue.

Men are clear about their calculations:
Marry and have a lifetime of kids,
I pay the mortgage, I earn the money,
I soothe emotions, I bear responsibilities,
If I fall behind even a little,
I'm immediately labeled as "useless."
This isn't starting a family, it's signing a slavery contract.

Women are not fools either: having children for a lifetime,
Body sags, career ends,
Time runs out, no way back.
They say "I'll support you,"
But the reality is the first thing in an argument:
"You eat my food, use my things,
What right do you have to talk?"
This isn't love, it's high-risk gambling.

So everyone has learned to be smart:
Men start pretending to be poor,
Pretend to be busy, pretend not to want marriage;
Women start pretending to be independent,
Pretend to be carefree, pretend not to need a family.
It's not that they don't want children,
It's that they dare not entrust their lives to a relationship that can turn sour at any moment.

To say something even dirtier:
Many marriages nowadays,
Can't even do a good job as husband and wife,
Why expect them to raise children to adulthood?

Children used to be hope,
Now they are accelerators:
If emotions are unstable, having one leads to breakup;
If finances are tight, having one leads to collapse;
If there's emotional illness, having one brings disaster to the whole family.

So don't ask anymore,
"Why aren't young people having children?"
The answer is crude and harsh:

These days,
Love is worthless,
Marriage is insecure,
But children are lifelong bonds.

Smart people, after doing the math,
Will choose one sentence:
I won't take this game.
