In early January, I noticed that Aptos officially confirmed the OaaS integration news for APRO on Twitter. This detail is worth pondering—APRO is no longer just a simple third-party oracle; it’s now clearly recognized by the public chain’s official strategic endorsement. Public chain foundations usually don’t casually endorse projects unless they truly see ecological value. Aptos even used the phrase "ecosystem builders" in their tweet, which is enough to show that they consider APRO an important part of the infrastructure.
Why is official endorsement so crucial? Simply put, it’s about resource allocation and support力度. Deploying a contract on Aptos with APRO isn’t just a matter of simple deployment; it can receive official developer recommendations, Grant priority, technical support, and even joint marketing. Aptos’s Payments Grant can go up to $150,000, including audits and gas subsidies. Although it appears to target payment applications, prediction markets and DeFi naturally require payment functionalities—projects applying for Grants using APRO data gain the added benefit of official endorsement, which naturally increases their success rate.
Another detail is that Aptos officially emphasized two directions this time: prediction markets and high-performance dApps. Coincidence? Not at all. Prediction markets require real-time reliable event data, and high-performance applications need low-latency data supply. These two areas happen to be APRO’s strengths. From this perspective, the official push is not accidental but targeted.
