Twitter's membership system is having some issues now. The rights and benefits for Blue V and V+ are clearly skewed towards creators: features like weighted exposure for tweets, long tweet posting, and post-editing are basically tailored for content producers.



As a result, creators are frantically buying accounts, while ordinary readers casually browsing content can't really benefit from these rights—whether they buy or not makes no difference to them.

What's even more heartbreaking is that early Blue V users have already established a fan base and traffic advantage, and later members have to share traffic with them, forming a closed loop of利益分配. From a certain perspective, this logic does resemble a financial game.

nah this is just the difficulty adjustment problem all over again—early miners locked in their advantage, new ones gotta fight for scraps from the same pool. seen this movie before tbh

Basically, the rich are getting richer, and newcomers haven't even started before they've already lost. Early bird advantages are really powerful; latecomers have no way out. Isn't this the most common pattern in Web3? I see it every day.

Isn't this just the naked Matthew Effect? The more you have, the more you get; the less you have, the worse it gets. The first-mover advantage is too strong, leaving latecomers with no way out. Ordinary users are indeed marginalized, but I think this is the effect Twitter wants to achieve? After all the fuss, it's still about cutting leeks, just with a different trick.
