Having experienced the ups and downs in the crypto world for ten years, growing from a few thousand USD to hundreds of millions, I have no special talent; I simply understood one principle earlier than most: living longer is always worth a hundred thousand times more than earning quickly.

Many people enter the market with a gambler's mindset, but I have always positioned myself as a disciplined trader from the start. This path is clear but also brutal.

**Buy Discipline at the Lowest Cost**

My starting point was 1000 USD; strictly speaking, this is not capital but tuition fees. Divided into 5 parts, each 200 USD. The strict rule: set stop-loss and take-profit for every trade, never do what you don’t understand, and never go against the trend. The only goal at this stage is to survive, learn to say "no" amid constant temptations, and turn correct operations into muscle memory.

**Use Trends to Gift and Complete Primitive Accumulation**

When my account finally grew to 10,000 USD, my approach changed. Limit each position to within 25%—this is the line of survival. The real skill lies in "adding positions." When a genuine trend forms, I pyramid in stages, gradually increasing my investment, but the pace is entirely controlled by me.

I never hope to catch the bottom; my goal is to firmly grasp the most smooth and efficient part of the trend. Profits are accumulated little by little this way.

**Fight Against Human Nature and Protect Compound Growth**

After crossing 200,000 USD, I added the most critical rule: regular withdrawals. I make a point to withdraw part of the profits every week without fail. This is not out of fear but to pour cold water on the self that grows wildly after profits.

Withdrawing is essentially a dialogue with greed. Only risk exposures that are well thought out should remain in the account. I’ve seen too many people go from huge profits to zero—same reason every time: once they make big money, they forget the word "risk."

Over these ten years, those who lose money are never short of opportunities; what they lack is a calm system when facing those opportunities. A fan grew from 900 USD to 18,000 USD, and cried when withdrawing. I understand that feeling—it's not just about the numbers, but proof that an ordinary person has overcome greed and fear within.

The greatest gain in the crypto world has never been those account numbers, but a more disciplined and stronger self.

Honestly, this is nonsense. Going from 900U to 18,000, why cry? The real test is ahead. Whether you can hold on is the true skill.

In simple terms, the longer you live, the more you win. This principle seems simple, but in reality, 99% of people can't do it.

To be honest, I also use the tactic of regular withdrawals, but sometimes it still hurts a bit at the moment of cashing out haha. This guy really hits the nail on the head; longevity is the key. After reading the last paragraph, I feel a bit emotional; numbers are just a side effect. In the early days, I also had a gambler's mindset; only after losing enough did I learn to set stop-losses. The position of disciplined trader is definitely much more reliable than the "get rich overnight" dream.

Basically, it's just about living longer. All my friends who went all in have died because of greed.

Setting stop-loss and take-profit sounds nice, but the key is to endure the times of loss without going crazy. Most people can't do that. That's right, discipline > talent, but executing it is ridiculously hard. I respect the tactic of regular withdrawals. Most people want to go all-in after making some profit, but this guy knows restraint. From 1,000 USD to tens of millions... sounds easy, but how many times did you almost die in the process? Compound interest is real, but the premise is to stay alive. Very few people understand this.
