Exactly right, but most people just can't do it. They start to get greedy with unrealized gains, unable to change their all-in mentality, and only realize the mistake after liquidation.

That's correct, just like the reentrancy vulnerability in smart contracts—what seems like a profitable cycle has actually been designed as a trap long ago. People often only see the superficial profit flow and overlook the flaws in the underlying logic. Risk management is not passive; it's about writing good require checks.

Here comes the textbook-style theory again. No matter how eloquently it's explained, you still have to dig into the pit yourself to truly understand.

actually ngl, this whole "emotional management > chart analysis" thesis is empirically proven across behavioral finance literature. think of it like this: leverage is basically giving yourself access to a loaded gun—the question isn't whether you *can* handle it, it's whether your psychology can.

That was too harsh. I haven't done a good job with stop-losses; I always want to wait a bit longer, but in the end, I miss the opportunity.

most traders don't fail because markets are cruel, they fail because they never actually planned for loss. that's the difference between gambling and having a strategy that survives bad outcomes.
