ZEC-2.48%
ASTER-3.74%

Are sniping and strategy leaks this serious now? I didn't know.

Basically, it's still a matter of choice, not black and white.

Privacy, to put it simply, is about having the right to choose whether to disclose or not. It's not necessarily about hiding or concealing, but about not wanting to be targeted and wiped out by sniper trading.

Institutional trading has indeed been somewhat overlooked. Without solving the sniping problem, no matter how many market makers are added, they won't be able to retain users, which is a hard constraint for sustainability. However, whether the privacy layer can truly be implemented depends on the design of the economic model—don't let it become just a guise for cutting the leeks again.

Sniping issues are so obvious that they still rely on privacy layers to rescue, indicating that DeFi is indeed a bit overwhelmed right now. I agree with the institutional trading choice rights, but how many actually dare to use them? Probably still just talking about demand without real need. Zama seems to be a more reliable approach, but it depends on what it can ultimately achieve. Privacy or no privacy, at the core, it all comes down to money—going to any lengths. How long this wave of popularity can last, I remain skeptical. ZEC's recent surge feels like a fleeting glow.

Right now, many projects are talking about privacy, and honestly, it's a bit chaotic. Aster, Zama, ZEC all want a piece of the pie, but can they really solve the pain points of institutions? I don't think so. --- Institutional trading does require privacy, that's true, but can the choice really be in the hands of users? Then it would just be a bunch of KYC headaches. --- But on the other hand, market makers are really suffering; there are too many sniping issues. If the privacy layer can truly solve this, it would be worth looking forward to. --- ZEC has indeed risen, but can this hype last? Or is it just another wave of speculation. --- The Agent scenario sounds very grand, but is it a bit early to start laying the groundwork now? Let's first solve the existing pain points. --- The key question is, do users really care about privacy? Or are big players just trying to hide their movements?

I think the privacy layer logic still has some substance; returning the choice to users indeed hits the pain point. Sniping issues are really annoying; every move of big players is seen through, how can we play like this? It's not surprising that ZEC is rising; the market is indeed re-evaluating this area. Institutional trading definitely needs this; otherwise, data exposure is too frightening. The privacy track might really have a future; it all depends on whether it can be effectively implemented. The imagination around the Agent era is indeed vast, but is execution really that difficult? Being sniped as a market maker is too common; having privacy protection can indeed alleviate this. Sounds great, but what about the security of privacy solutions? That’s the key. I'm more concerned about whether these privacy projects can truly be used within the ecosystem. The choice is in the hands of users; this approach is smarter than enforced transparency or enforced privacy. With DeFi's popularity so high, the privacy layer might really become a necessity.

Sniping issues are indeed annoying, and the privacy layer is really something that needs to be carefully considered.
