Can identity verification products survive on their own? Honestly, it's very difficult.

Users won't open an app just to "use their identity." It needs to be integrated into specific scenarios—such as payments and transfers, account opening verification, fiat currency deposits and withdrawals. Once these operations are involved, identity verification truly demonstrates its value.

Some new identity solutions are now starting to change this mindset. Instead of pushing identity as an independent product, it's better to embed it into actual business processes. When users are performing tasks, identity verification happens naturally and seamlessly. This design approach is indeed somewhat different.

The key is that identity needs not traffic, but deep integration with core applications like payments, lending, and trading. Only then can it truly unlock the Web3 identity verification market.

In plain terms, identity verification should follow the money; creating a standalone product is just asking for trouble.

Basically, identity verification needs to be supported by real-world scenarios; isolating it alone won't get anyone to buy in. Integrating it into the business flow is indeed smarter, and users complete verification without even noticing. Deeply binding payment transactions is the real key; everything else is just superficial.

In plain terms, identity verification without a scenario is just a decoration. Don't go for that approach; it has to be linked to payments. I think completing this seamlessly is feasible, and it's much better than those pop-up verifications.

That's right, independent identity products really can't handle this kind of workload. Integrating into business processes is the right way; otherwise, who would voluntarily adopt this thing?

Basically, identity verification is just a supporting role; it only has vitality when it depends on real business.

Damn, does that mean identity verification has to be tied to payments to survive? I knew it a long time ago. Last time I bottomed out on a certain identity chain project, I even boasted in the group, "This is the future infrastructure," but ended up losing 40%... Now I understand, things without real application scenarios are just air.

Basically, going solo with identity verification is a dead end; no one will download an app for that. There's no point in talking about identity without a scenario; it has to be linked to money. I agree with this idea, but the key is who can make it work smoothly. Integrating it into the process sounds good, but the question is, how many are actually doing it now? Instead of boasting about seamless completion, it's better to first solidify the basics. When it comes to Web3 identity, it still depends on who can hold onto the vital link of payments.
