Tempo Public Testnet Launch, Users Can Freely Experience

Although Tempo mainly focuses on enterprise applications, it launched a public testnet for all users in mid-December last year. As long as you want, connecting to the network, deploying smart contracts, and interacting with on-chain applications are all feasible.

However, it is important to note that — the official has not yet announced the specific details of the incentive mechanism. What does this mean? Users participating in the test should not expect any rewards for now. But on the other hand, this fully open testing phase indeed provides more people with the opportunity to personally experience the project.

Whether there's a reward or not, just playing around is fine. The key is being able to deploy contracts yourself. No incentives? Then I need to think again about whether I want to spend time messing with this... Enterprise-level applications doing public testing sounds interesting, but I need to wait for the incentive details before deciding whether to invest or not. Honestly, I just want to see how practical it actually is. Anyway, if it's open, I'll give it a try. It's a bit unreasonable that the incentives weren't clearly explained. Doing it this way during the testing phase feels a bit insincere.

No incentive mechanism, so just enjoy the experience for free, anyway, I have nothing to do. --- Enterprise-level features open to individuals, this operation is still a bit interesting. --- Another test without rewards, I'll just take a look and leave it at that. --- It's okay to play for free, just to learn a bit. --- The public testnet is up, but the reward details haven't been released yet. The pace is a bit slow. --- No rewards, but still want people to test? The official's thinking is a bit... --- As long as I can experience it, whether there are incentives or not, I'll try it if I get the chance.

No incentives, no incentives anyway. Anyway, I'm just idling, might as well play around first. --- Why bother with public testing for enterprise applications? Are they trying to attract fans? --- Wait, is the smart contract part stable? Or is it another abandoned project? --- Public testnet is just a public testnet. Just treat it as a free trial, no loss anyway. --- So now all Web3 projects are like this, letting users free ride first and then slowly deduct details. --- It's better to try it hands-on than just listen to introductions. But this incentive mechanism is really a bit confusing. --- Connecting to the network to deploy contracts is fine? At least it doesn't seem that complicated. --- The problem is, once the incentive plan is out, early users will be cut again, right? --- The name Tempo sounds pretty good, but whether the product is reliable is the key. --- I just want to know how TPS this thing has. No matter how aggressively they boast about enterprise-level, it’s useless.

theoretically speaking, if we map tempo's testnet architecture against the interoperability vector model... the lack of incentive disclosure is actually fascinating from a recursive state verification perspective. no rewards = pure signal, which is kinda beautiful tbh
