The ETHGas project team has officially confirmed the token snapshot date. They launched the $GWEI token and disclosed the complete tokenomics plan. Notably, 10% of the tokens were directly allocated to the community airdrop.

The snapshot is scheduled for January 19th at 00:00 UTC, and this timing is very important.

This airdrop design is quite interesting—it is not randomly distributed but truly reflects users' gas consumption on the Ethereum network. In other words, the amount of gas you spend on Ethereum determines how much you can receive in the airdrop. This mechanism more fairly rewards the actual users of the network.

Damn, I like this mechanism—distribution based on gas fees, much more thoughtful than those messy random airdrops. Let me calculate how much I can earn...

January 19th? Damn, it's time to race again, users are thrilled about the gas fees --- This design is really quite something; allocating based on gas fees is much fairer than random --- Wait, I need to calculate how much gas I’ve burned... feels like I’m losing money --- A 10% community airdrop is quite a lot, but I’m worried it’s just another rug pull --- Before the snapshot, a bunch of people will definitely go crazy with interactions, gas fees are going to skyrocket haha --- Distributing based on actual users? I like this idea, much better than those reward-whoring schemes --- The whole point of hitting exactly on January 19th is really tight, worried about network congestion --- Gwei is a perfect name, directly a gas unit, will people criticize it for riding the hype? --- Spending more on gas fees actually means earning more? This logic is a bit confusing --- If I had known earlier, I would have interacted more, but now it’s too late to regret

Alright, alright. It's another airdrop based on gas fees. I just want to know how much those who swap every day can get.

Snapshot on January 19th... This time, it's finally not just another "random airdrop" project. Distributing based on gas fees actually makes some sense. The more gas you spend, the more you get? Then I’d better check my wallet this month, haha. Wait, isn’t the 10% community airdrop allocation a bit low? Usually, projects say at least 20%, right? I just want to know if there's still time to push a wave of gas before the snapshot... But honestly, distributing based on consumption is indeed fairer, at least it's not purely based on luck.

Will the high gas fees really allow for a return now? Feels a bit uncertain. This compensation mechanism should have been in place earlier; Ethereum has been draining us for so long. Can we still push for a gas fee surge before January 19th? Last-minute scramble. Honestly, this tokenomics is much more considerate and honest than most airdrop projects. The system crashed the day before the snapshot; I really understand this trick.

Bro, this mechanism sounds nice, but I feel like it's just another high-level sucker's harvest... Just looking at the tokenomics with that 10% airdrop, it feels like the MACD has already crossed to the upside. Snapshot on January 19th? I need to check what the technical chart looks like that day, so I don't end up bottom-fishing in a head and shoulders pattern again...
