Speaking of the concept of the open data layer, I have to admit I'm impressed, but I'm just worried it will end up being a bunch of projects talking big and doing nothing.

ngl, "permissionless data layer" sounds good until you realize who's actually controlling the nodes. seen this pitch before—always ends with centralization creep. DYOR on the validator set before buying the narrative.
