Recently, the on-chain AI creation activity jointly organized by Camp Network, an autonomous IP Layer 1 blockchain, along with MERV, StoryChain, and Rob Feldman, has attracted a large number of users.

According to data from Camp Network’s official Twitter, within just a few days of launch, the event has engaged over 50,000 users and generated 125,000 secondary IP creations.

Camp Network can be considered one of the community’s more attention-grabbing interactive projects recently. In May of this year, Camp Network launched the K2 testnet and simultaneously started the “Summit Series” event, where users explore ecological dApps through on-chain tasks to earn points rewards. This on-chain AI creation activity is also part of the “Summit Series” on the testnet.

This article will briefly overview Camp Network and provide an interactive tutorial for the on-chain AI creation activity.

Under the Wave of AI Agents, Building a Dedicated Autonomous IP Layer1

With the rapid development of AI, IP management issues faced by creators have become increasingly severe. Many models use content for training without authorization, leading to creators losing control, visibility, and revenue from their intellectual property (IP).

In scenarios of high-frequency AI-generated content, traditional IP management methods are no longer suitable, and issues such as opaque ownership, rampant piracy, and licensing disputes are more prominent.

As AI agents gradually replace traditional information processing methods, user-owned IP and fine-tuned vertical AI agents based on that IP become the core of value. However, the market lacks solutions specifically designed to combine IP and AI, failing to meet creators’ rights protection needs in the digital economy.

Camp Network aims to fill this market gap by creating a Layer1 focused on autonomous IP and supporting AI agents with user identities.

According to the Camp Network white paper, its core features include:

  • Support for IP tokenization: Anyone can put music, images, videos, personal data, and other IP on-chain for AI training and earn revenue.

  • Gas-free registration and royalties: On-chain IP and royalty splits are gas-free, reducing costs and increasing efficiency.

  • Isolated execution environment: Dedicated environments for AI agents and automatic licensing, offering flexibility and efficiency.

  • Support for dedicated application chains: Developers can launch independent chains with exclusive block space and computing power, suitable for high-performance needs.

Camp Network states that in the coming months, with the mainnet launch, dozens of new applications will be introduced across fields such as music, entertainment, and social media. Currently, its ecosystem partners serve over 5 million users.

On-Chain AI Creation Activity Interactive Tutorial

This on-chain AI creation activity by Camp Network includes three sections: social tasks, MERV tasks, and StoryChain tasks. The detailed tutorial is as follows:

Social Tasks

Follow Merv, Merv Toon, and Storychain on X; join Storychain’s Discord and Telegram.

MERV Tasks

  1. Login

Besides using Web3 wallets like Metamask and Rainbow, you can also choose Web2 login options such as X or Google accounts. If you select the latter, follow the platform prompts; it will help generate an on-chain wallet via the Para identity protocol.

  1. Click “faucet” at the top right of the homepage to claim test tokens. (If you already have test tokens, you can skip this step.)

  2. On the homepage, click “Generate Cyko KO IP” and select your preferred character.

  3. After the character is generated, click “Collect & Mint NFT” to complete the minting process.

  4. Share your newly minted character on the X platform.

  5. Click “Bring to life on Storychain” to jump to the next step.

Storychain Tasks

  1. Enter the platform.

  2. Click “Create New” at the top right.

  3. Choose a character.

You can select “Standard Character” or “MERV Character.” If you choose “Standard Character,” there are two options; select one.

If using a character generated by MERV, users logged in with the same wallet as the MERV platform will see the character automatically, or you can search for your MERV character by wallet address.

  1. Complete the story creation.

Name the character → select gender → input manga story prompts → click “Create Comic!”

If you’re unsure how to write manga story prompts, you can use AI tools like ChatGPT or Deepseek for assistance.

  1. Wait for the story to generate and complete the manga creation.
