IRAN STRIKE DEBATE EXPOSES RIFTS IN TRUMP’S INNER CIRCLE

Gen. Dan Caine has cautioned President Donald Trump that a strike on Iran could spiral into a prolonged and costly conflict with uncertain strategic gains.
The president’s senior advisers are split. Some are urging restraint and continued diplomacy, while others argue that military action is necessary. Jared Kushner and envoy Steve Witkoff are pressing for more time to pursue negotiations, while figures such as Senator Lindsey Graham support moving ahead with a strike.
Trump is reportedly inclined toward taking action but has agreed to let diplomatic efforts continue for now.
