1. Event Recap: Rare “A+H” Dual Strike
On February 25, 2026, Conch Cement announced that its controlling shareholder, Anhui Conch Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Conch Group”), plans to increase its holdings of Conch Cement A-shares through centralized bidding in the secondary market within the next six months, with an investment range of 700 million to 1.4 billion RMB.
At the same time, Conch Group simultaneously initiated a strategic increase in its stake in Conch Venture (0586.HK) in the Hong Kong stock market. According to public disclosures and announcements, Conch Group intends to cashly increase its holdings of approximately 10.61% of Conch Venture in the secondary market. After the increase, Conch Group’s shareholding in Conch Venture will rise from about 10.38% to approximately 21%, and it plans to reorganize the board of directors to become the actual controller of Conch Venture.
Boosted by this news, on February 25, the cement sector in both A-shares and Hong Kong stocks experienced a collective surge.
