Today, new energy sectors led the rally, with gains in solid-state batteries, new lithium mines, and lithium batteries. As of the latest report, the Sci-Tech Innovation Board New Energy ETF (588960) increased by 3.22%, and the Lithium Battery ETF (561160) rose by 2.38% intraday. Among its components, Gaocai Co., Ltd. surged over 11%, and Minmetals New Energy rose over 10%.

According to the official WeChat account of the National Energy Administration, by 2026, the “14th Five-Year Plan” will accelerate the construction of a new energy system. Key projects include large-scale flagship projects such as the North Three Provinces wind and solar bases and the Southwest water, wind, and solar integration base. Additionally, smaller, refined projects like wind-solar-hydrogen-ammonia integration, solar thermal power, and zero-carbon parks will be promoted. The plan emphasizes following project planning closely to fully expand the development space for both centralized and distributed photovoltaic projects.

Furthermore, the latest data from the National Energy Administration shows that by December 2025, the country’s photovoltaic installed capacity reached 1.2 billion kilowatts, a 35% year-over-year increase. China’s photovoltaic industry continues to grow rapidly, with significant progress in green and low-carbon energy transformation.
