Google will invest approximately $1 billion to build a data center in Minnesota, which will be powered by wind energy, solar energy, and Form Energy's iron-air battery technology. This battery system can provide 300 megawatts of power for 100 hours, helping to stabilize the power supply from 1.4 gigawatts of wind energy and 200 megawatts of solar energy. After this significant deal, Form Energy CEO Mateo Jaramillo announced that the company is raising $500 million in funding and plans to go public next year.
