According to China State Railway Group Co., Ltd., during the Spring Festival holiday (the 28th day of the twelfth lunar month to the seventh day of the first lunar month), railway travel for family visits, work, and tourism overlapped and increased. Passenger flow remained high, with a total of 121 million passengers transported nationwide, averaging 13.41 million per day, an 11.5% increase compared to the same period last year. On February 23rd (the seventh day of the lunar new year), 18.733 million passengers were transported, setting a new record for single-day passenger volume during the Spring Festival travel rush.
