According to sources cited by Blockspace, Magic Eden will shut down its Bitcoin and EVM markets and cease support for its multi-chain wallet. The related announcement is expected to be released as early as this Friday. The BTC and EVM markets are expected to close in the first week of March. The multi-chain wallet will enter export-only mode in mid-March and completely cease services in early April. The company will still support Solana NFTs and assets. Magic Eden was once a major trading platform for Bitcoin Ordinals, accounting for about 80% of Ordinals and Runes trading volume at its peak, with Bitcoin assets making up to 70% of its platform's trading activity.
