To implement the requirements of the “Medium- and Long-Term Development Plan for the Hydrogen Energy Industry (2021-2035),” the “National Standardization Development Outline,” and the “Guidelines for the Construction of the Hydrogen Energy Industry Standard System (2023 Edition),” and to further improve the standard system for the entire hydrogen energy industry chain—production, storage, transportation, and utilization—and accelerate the supply of hydrogen energy standards, the National Hydrogen Energy Standardization Technical Committee has organized the drafting of 19 national standards, including the “Hydrogen Fuel Quality Requirements,” and is now seeking public comments. The relevant materials include “Technical Requirements for Renewable Energy Water Electrolysis Hydrogen Production Systems,” “Technical Requirements for Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle Refueling Protocols,” “Pipeline System Integrity Management Specifications,” and “Technical Specifications for Data Collection at Hydrogen Refueling Stations,” among others.
