Patrick Dumont has been appointed chairman and CEO of Las Vegas Sands (LVS), overseeing its rapid expansion in Asia, particularly in Singapore where Marina Bay Sands (MBS) just recorded its best year. LVS is investing heavily in a new US$8 billion resort next to MBS, set to complete by 2030, and remains keen on further Singaporean investments. Dumont, son-in-law of LVS founder Sheldon Adelson, plans to continue the company’s legacy of innovation and risk-taking in the integrated resorts market.
