People’s Financial News, March 6 — The three major U.S. stock indices all opened lower, with the S&P 500 down 1.2%, the Dow Jones down 1.42%, and the Nasdaq down 1.43%. Large technology stocks mostly declined: Apple fell 1.14%, Amazon dropped 1.43%, Nvidia decreased 1.71%, Google declined 1.82%, Tesla fell 2.34%, and Meta dropped 2.94%.
