According to a report on March 31 by Iran’s Islamic Republic of Radio and Television, the Navy of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said the same day that it launched strikes against multiple targets by the U.S. and Israel, and reaffirmed full control of the Strait of Hormuz. The report said that on that day the Revolutionary Guard Corps launched the 88th wave of its “True Promise-4” operation; the Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy fired ballistic missiles that hit an Israeli container ship in the central Persian Gulf; a collection point for a U.S. military decoy at a location along the UAE coastline was destroyed by drones; the air-defense system deployed by the U.S. Fifth Fleet near Bahrain International Airport was targeted and struck by drones; and the two radar systems at the Ahmad Jaber Air Base in Kuwait used by the U.S. military were also precisely destroyed. The Navy of the Revolutionary Guard Corps said it had gained full control of the Strait of Hormuz under orders from the highest command, and any enemy activity would fall within the range of missile and drone strikes.
