Haohai Biological's Henan Universe recently received a medical device registration certificate from the National Medical Products Administration for multi-focus aspheric artificial lenses. This product is the world's first multi-focus artificial lens based on quintuple-focus diffraction technology, improving visual continuity.

People’s Financial News, April 7—Haohai Biotech (688366) announced on April 7 that its wholly owned subsidiary, Henan Cosmos Artificial Crystal Lens Research and Development Co., Ltd., recently received from the National Medical Products Administration a 《Medical Device Registration Certificate of the People’s Republic of China》 for its multifocal aspheric intraocular lens product. This product is the world’s first approved multifocal intraocular lens based on the patent technology of Fourier harmonic five-focus diffractive intraocular lenses. It enables more efficient allocation of light energy, improves light-energy utilization, enhances intermediate vision compared with conventional trifocal intraocular lenses, and makes visual acuity across far-to-intermediate, intermediate, and near-to-intermediate ranges more continuous and smoother.
