ME News message, April 9 (UTC+8), the Speaker of the Iranian parliament issued a statement saying that three key provisions in the 10-point proposal had been violated before the negotiations were even launched. Including: 1. Not complying with the provisions in the 10-point proposal regarding achieving a ceasefire in Lebanon—Pakistan’s prime minister has explicitly mentioned and claimed that this is a “comprehensive ceasefire that takes effect immediately, everywhere, including Lebanon and other areas”; 2. An invading drone entered Iranian airspace and was destroyed in the city of Lar, in Fars Province, which clearly violates the provisions prohibiting any further incursions into Iranian airspace; 3. Denying Iran’s right to nuclear enrichment, which is included in Article 6 of the framework. Now, the “practicable conditions” that were supposed to serve as the basis for the negotiations have been openly and explicitly breached, even before the talks began. Under these circumstances, it is unreasonable to implement a bilateral ceasefire or to hold negotiations. (Jin10) (Source: ODAILY)
