Southwest adds a free checked wine case as Sonoma flights begin
Southwest Airlines (NYSE: LUV) has launched new nonstop service to Santa Rosa (Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport) and will introduce a “Sip and Ship” program allowing customers to check one case of wine free of charge from select West Coast locations starting April 24, 2026. This expansion adds Santa Rosa as Southwest’s 14th intra-California destination and aims to enhance customer convenience for wine country visitors. The airline also reported dividend declarations and Starlink WiFi upgrades, maintaining a focus on operational enhancements and customer-focused perks.
