Just noticed CME Bitcoin futures opened with a decent gap this morning - started around $67,995 while spot was sitting way higher. That's roughly a $2,160 difference from Friday's close at $70,155. The US weekend closure on futures does this every time, but it's still wild seeing that gap play out when spot market never sleeps. Current price is hovering around $71.36K now with some decent momentum today, up almost 3%. These gaps always get interesting to watch - some traders love hunting them, others just wait for things to stabilize. Anyway, keeping an eye on how futures catch up to spot this week.
