Q1 fund dividends exceeded 50 billion yuan; equity funds replace bond funds as the main force

Opinion Network News: On April 8, Wind data shows that in the first quarter of 2026, the total amount of distributions by publicly offered funds exceeded 50 billion yuan. The share of distributions from equity funds surged from 11% two years ago to 54%, replacing bond funds as the main driver of distributions.

According to information available as of March 31, in the first quarter, 1,326 funds distributed payments, with a total distribution amount of 53.55B yuan. Of this, equity funds distributed 25.11B yuan, accounting for 46.9%; passive index funds distributed 19.94B yuan, representing 68.62% of the equity fund distributions.
