Abstract generation in progress

Everyday Economic News AI Express. On April 8, Zhipu’s official video account announced the official release of its new generation open-source model GLM-5.1. According to the introduction, it is the only open-source model that has achieved sustained operation on the scale of up to 8 hours. On the SWE-bench Pro benchmark, which is the closest to real software development, GLM-5.1 achieved the first-ever surpassing of Opus 4.6 by a domestic model. OpenRouter shows that alongside this release, Zhipu’s GLM has raised its prices again by 10%. After the price adjustment, in the Coding scenario, the cached hit token price of GLM-5.1 is now close to the level of Anthropic’s Claude Sonnet 4.6. This marks the first time a domestic large model has achieved price alignment with overseas leading vendors in a core scenario.
