People’s Finance News April 8—According to data released on April 7 by the Federal Motor Transport Authority in Germany, in March this year, the number of newly registered pure electric vehicles in Germany was 70,663, up sharply 66.2% year over year, making it the core factor driving growth in the auto market. At the same time, sales of conventional gasoline cars have continued to face pressure: in March, the registration volume for gasoline vehicles in Germany was 66,959, down 4.9% year over year. Diesel vehicles saw a slight decline of 0.6% year over year. In March, the number of newly registered pure electric vehicles in Germany exceeded that of gasoline vehicles. Analysts said this shift is related to factors including recent Middle East tensions that have pushed up international energy prices, as well as the German government’s support policies for new energy vehicles.
