National Development and Reform Commission: Further Clarify the Scope of Public Credit Information Inclusion to Protect the Legitimate Rights and Interests of Credit Subjects
People’s Finance and Information, April 7—According to a reporter from the National Development and Reform Commission, recently the National Development and Reform Commission and other relevant departments issued the “National Basic Directory of Public Credit Information (2026 Edition)” and the “National Basic List of Measures for Punishing Dishonesty (2026 Edition).” The “Directory” includes 13 categories of public credit information, such as basic information on registration and incorporation, judicial rulings and enforcement information, etc.; the “List” covers the measures for punishing dishonesty listed therein, including three categories of 14 items of measures such as those implemented by public administration authorities in accordance with laws and regulations to reduce the legitimate rights and interests of credit subjects or to increase their obligations, further clarifying the scope for public credit information to be included, further standardizing measures for punishing dishonesty, and protecting the lawful rights and interests of credit subjects. The “Directory” and “List” shall come into force as of the date of issuance, with a validity period of two years; the 2025 edition is simultaneously repealed. (CCTV News)
